The existing balloon frame building from the 1950s is located in a postwar refugee neighbourhood which has become more and more gentrified.

The new owner who inherited the house from an old lady wanted not only to upgrade the facade to modern standards but also to make a statement towards all the new villas around. We chose to give the house a new bright yellow wooden facade and a new balcony with lake view.
